Malibu Jack's Quad Cities is Hiring a Maintenance Technicians Near Bettendorf, IA
- Oversee, clean, and be responsible for multiple attractions including coasters, Virtual Reality Systems, Laser Tag, Simulators, and more
- Assist with POS systems, projectors, and other building equipment
- Perform daily preventative maintenance and repairs
- Maintain PM logs for all attractions and keep them up to date
- Keep up to date numbers for parts stocked
- Communicate daily with team members
- Maintain a safety-focused attitude at all times
- Be knowledgeable and willing to run attractions when needed
- Oversee, clean, and be responsible for the latest video, redemption, and skill games
- Assist with POS systems, projectors, and other building equipment
- Perform daily preventative maintenance and repairs
- Maintain PM logs for all games and attractions and keep them up to date
- Keep games stocked
- Communicate daily with team members
- Maintain a safety-focused attitude at all time
- Provide a safe and fun environment for every employee and customer
- Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with Guests and fellow co-workers.
- Conducting repairs aiming for maximum reliability and uptime
- Oversees daily appearance and performance checks and maintenance on karts
- Maintain track appearance and functionality; reports any concerns to management
- Keep accurate documentation of repairs, parts inventory, and special projects
- Respond to emergency situations as they arise
- Ensure that the pit, kart shop and track areas remain clean and safe
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ensure tools are used properly and stored as needed in locked cabinets.
- Perform Opening, Running and Closing department duties as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned
- Complete fully all daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and any other preventative maintenance set forth by manufacturer’s and/or Malibu Jacks’ standards
- Strong teamwork ethic and attitude
- Attention to detail
- Time management and a sense of urgency
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to work up to 40 hours per week, available to work every weekend
- Must have a high school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift 39lbs unaided
